President Donald Trump tweeted Tuesday morning that another prominent ISIS leader has been killed by the US military, APA reports.
"Just confirmed that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s number one replacement has been terminated by American troops. Most likely would have taken the top spot - Now he is also Dead!" Trump tweeted.
Trump did not give the name of the ISIS leader who was reportedly killed or give any other specifics.
Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the head of the Islamic State and one of the most-wanted men in the world, was killed in a US military raid in Turkey near the Syrian border on Saturday.
