President Biden spoke with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Sunday following her trip to Ukraine, a White House official said, APA reports citing The Wall Street Journal.
Mrs. Pelosi and a delegation of Democratic lawmakers traveled to the Ukraine to underscore U.S. support as Russia continues its operation on the country. The delegation met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Saturday night in Kyiv.
Mr. Biden talked to Mrs. Pelosi after the delegation arrived in Poland following the trip to Kyiv. They discussed the delegation’s meeting with Mr. Zelensky, among other things, the White House official said.
