US President Joe Biden will pay a visit South Korea and Japan on May 20-24, said Jen Psaki, White House spokesman, APA reports.
"The president will visit the Republic of Korea and Japan from May 20 to 24 to further deepen economic and people-to-people ties between the two countries," Psaki said in a written statement.During the visit, Biden will meet with the leaders of these countries.
"The leaders will discuss opportunities to deepen our vital security ties, strengthen economic ties and expand our close cooperation to achieve practical results," the statement said.
In addition, Psaki noted that a meeting of the heads of state of the Quartet Security Dialogue, which includes Japan, Australia, India and the United States, is planned in Tokyo.
