United States House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan subpoenaed former executive director of the Department of Homeland Security's disinformation board, Nina Jankowicz, over her work as President Joe Biden's disinformation head, APA reports citing Axios.
The move comes as part of the House Judiciary select subcommittee's investigation into whether the US federal government has been "weaponized" against conservatives. Jankowicz reportedly said she is prepared to answer to the subpoena and testify that the now-disbanded board "was a working group meant to address disinformation that endangered Americans' safety."
In his subpoena of Jankowicz, Jordan claimed he sought voluntary testimony from Jankowitz several times since May of last year.
