Pentagon spokesman John Kirby noted on Friday the United States has not yet made a final decision on Ukraine's demands for multiple launch rocket systems, APA reports citing Tele Trader.

According to Kirby, the White House is planning another artillery package for Kyiv, but underlined that the next batch of military help is still in progress. During a regular press briefing, Kirby revealed that neither US President Joe Biden nor Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin have given their approval to the next round of supplies to Ukraine.

In addition to this, Kirby stated that the Pentagon and the State Department are considering the possibility of sending a military contingent to guard the US embassy in Kyiv. Pentagon's spokesman announced Friday was his final day as the press secretary as he will move to the post of National Security Council (NSC) Coordinator for Strategic Communications.
