Former United States Vice President Mike Pence stated that it is unlikely that Russian President Vladimir Putin will restrict his military objectives to merely obtaining control over Ukraine, APA reports citing Teletrader.
"We need to understand the real long-term threat of renewed Russian aggression in Europe," the former vice president stressed.
"I would say anyone that thinks that Vladimir Putin will stop at Ukraine is wrong," Pence told NBC News in response to comments made by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis who earlier this week critized United States President Joe Biden's visit to Ukraine. The governor told Fox News that Moscow poses no threat to other countries, Washington included, as Russia has been "really wounded."
