Twitter Inc. is adding an "Official" label to some accounts on its platform to help users distinguish between blue checkmark badges given to Twitter Blue subscribers and those that went through the verification process, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The social media giant last week updated its app description in Apple Store, telling iOS users they will be able to purchase the blue check mark badge for $7.99-a-month.
The tech giant later reportedly delayed the rollout of its verification subscription until after the United States midterm elections.
