The use of "Johnson & Johnson" (J&J) coronavirus vaccine has been restricted in the United States, APA reports.

This is because some people have an increased risk of blood clots after use.

According to the US Department of Health and Human Services' Food and Drug Administration, the regulator has urgently changed the approved text for the one-component vaccine.

According to the new instructions, a citizen will not be allowed to use this vaccine when choosing a vaccine.

According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 18.7 million people have been vaccinated with J&J COVID-19 so far.

The vaccine was registered in the United States in late February 2021.
