United States National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said on Wednesday that the U.S. is "very closely" following the prospects of a North Korean nuclear weapon test, APA reports citing Teletrader.

"We’re also watching very closely the continuing possibility of a nuclear test, to which we would also have a robust response," Sullivan underlined.

Earlier today, South Korean Foreign Affairs Vice Minister Cho Hyun-dong said that the deputy foreign ministers of South Korea, the US and Japan reaffirmed their common goal of denuclearization of North Korea after the rising number of missile launches from Pyongyang from the beginning of the year.
