The United States government has increased efforts toward supporting Saudi Arabia and Israel to normalize their bilateral relations ahead of a visit by President Joe Biden scheduled for next month, APA reports citing Axios.
According to sources, the White House has discussed a "normalization road map" with experts as a long-term project that will take a step-by-step approach.
While there's a high chance there won't be any breakthroughs during Biden's visit to the Middle East, it was reported earlier Washington was working with Israel, Saudi Arabia, and several other Arab countries on establishing an integrated defense system known as the "Middle East Air Defense."
