Sculptor Omar Eldarov holds press conference

The sculptor touched on the contributions of the then Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev to Azerbaijani art.
He stated that as Heydar Aliyev studied in architecture faculty, he always tried to develop this field.
â€œHeydar Aliyevâ€™s name is connected with Azerbaijani Art. Academy is obliged to him for its activity,â€ he said.
The sculptor shared his impressions on the then President.
He also touched on the condition of Azerbaijani sculpture.
â€œI would like present constructions not change Bakuâ€™s view. But I can do nothing for it. This process not only occurs in Azerbaijan, but in the whole world,â€ he said.
The Rector also stressed the necessity of high-level teaching of arts in schools. /APA/
