156 people died from coronavirus in Iran over the past day, said Sima Sadat Lari, spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education of Iran, APA's Tehran bureau reports.
According to S.Sadat Lari, the coronavirus death toll in Iran has reached 23,313.
The ministry’s official said 2,619 coronavirus cases have been recorded in Iran over the past day. Total coronavirus cases have reached 404,648. The health condition of 3798 virus carriers is evaluated as severe.
She added that 348,013 recovered from COVID-19 so far.
