56% of Japanese businesses consider the government should postpone or cancel the Summer Olympic Games, a survey conducted by Tokyo Shoko Research revealed on Monday, APA reports citing Teletrader.

Of all 11,000 surveyed companies, only 7.7% of them believe the Olympics should continue in full-form as scheduled, while about 37% of them think games should have a limited number of spectators or no audience at all. Furthermore, 70% of businesses claim canceling the event wouldn't significantly impact their earnings.

The 2020 Summer Olympics, postponed from last year, are set to be held in Tokyo between July 23 and August 8 this year.
