Some 78 people have died from novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Iran during the past day, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.
The relevant information has been disseminated by Iran’s Health Ministry.
The report says thereby, the number of people died of coronavirus in Iran has reached 8,584.
Some 2,238 coronavirus infection cases have been recorded in Iran during the past day, the total number of people infected with COVID-19 has become 180,156.
So far, 142,663 people have recovered from this disease.
Currently, the health condition of 2,728 patients being the virus carriers is severe or moderate-to-severe.
