Iran does not intend to leave the JCPOA, the Iranian Foreign Ministry stated, APA reports citing Sputnik.

The ties between the US and Iran deteriorated in May 2018, when President Donald Trump announced US withdrawal from the nuclear deal. Precisely one year later, Tehran suspended part of its obligations under the JCPOA and promised to reduce other limitations every 60 days unless other signatories abide the deal.

Tehran is not seeking to abandon the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, known as the Iranian nuclear deal, the country's deputy foreign minister Abbas Araghchi said in a statement on Tuesday.
