Former Vice Minister of Health of Kazakhstan tests positive for coronavirus

Newly appointed head of Almaty public health department Kamaljan Nadyrov tested positive for coronavirus infection, Health Minister Yelzhan Birtanov said, APA reports citing AKIPress.

On April 21, Kamaljan Nadyrov was dismissed from the post of the Vice Minister of Health of Kazakhstan and was supposed to replaced Tleuhan Abildayev who stepped down as Almaty public health department chief.

Resignation of Tleukhan Abildayev has been suspended, Minister Birtanov said.
