“Our purpose is to be achieved lasting peace. Unfortunately, crisis has continued for 10 years. We see the negative effects of the crisis.  The main reason for this is the disregard for the legitimate rights of the Syrian people,” said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu at a joint news conference with his Qatari and Russian counterparts in Doha, APA reports.

NaziriAccording to him, more than 6 million Syrians have been displaced from their homeland, 3,6 million of them live in Turkey

He emphasized that 2,4 million Syrian kids can not go to school. The head of MFA brought into notice that in this case, more adequate steps should be taken.

“For 10 years, terrorist organizations such as ISIS and the PKK want to divide Syria. PKK targets civilians in the north of Syria. At our meeting, we emphasized once again that we support Syria's territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence,” said Turkish FM.
