In the meantime, the South Asian nation's coronavirus death toll increased to 52,889, after health authorities recorded 1,092 new virus-related fatalities during the day.
On the other hand, the number of recoveries from the disease reached a total of 2,037,870, rising by 60,091 in the twenty-four hour time.
