Indian Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar (pictured) announced on Saturday that India and China have reached an agreement on the disengagement and de-escalation processes between the two nations, APA reports citing Tele Trader.

Earlier this week, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted progress regarding military withdrawal on the borders to its southern neighbor. The details of the deal the two countries made are yet to be revealed.

The tensions between China and India over the border region of Ladakh started rising in May and escalated to an armed clash in June, before an initial agreement to disengage was made at the end of the month.
