Iran’s parliament speaker contracts coronavirus

"One of my office colleagues became infected with the coronavirus, and at midnight my test result was announced and the Corona was positive," Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian parliament, wrote on Twitter this morning (Wednesday), "I am currently in quarantine and, God willing, I will pursue my duties," APA reports citing Iran Press. 

According to the latest statistics of Iran’s Ministry of Health, about 582,000 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus so far, of which more than 463,000 have recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
