Kazakhstan reports 256 coronavirus and 723 pneumonia cases

256 new coronavirus cases were registered in Kazakhstan for the past 24 hours. 103 cases are asymptomatic, APA reports quoting AKI Press.

The new cases included 33 in Pavlodar region, 32 in almaty, 31 in East Kazakhstan region, 22 in Karaganda region, 18 in Atyrau region, 17 in West Kazakhstan region, 14 in Akmola reigon, 14 in North Kazakhstan region, 14 in Turkestan region, 12 in Kostanai region, 9 in Almaty region, 8 in Mangistau region, 8 in Nur-Sultan, 8 in Jambyl region, 6 in Aktobe region, 6 in Kyzylorda region, 4 in Shymkent.

The total number of coronavirus cases reached 104,071.

1,470 recoveries from coronavirus were registered in the last 24 hours. The total number of recoveries made 87,920.

723 pneumonia cases with coronavirus symptoms were registered for the past 24 hours. The total number of pneumonia cases since August 1 made 21,264. 2,139 people recovered from pneumonia in a day.

20 died from coronavirus and 6 from pneumonia for the last 24 hours.

14,670 patients are treated from coronavirus. 6,339 patients remain in hospitals and 8,331 people receive treatment at home.

49 patients are on ventilators.
