489 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Kazakhstan by the morning of July 1. The growth rate made 2.5%, APA reports citing AKI Press.
The bulk of cases are registered in Almaty - 86 cases, Nur-Sultan - 56 cases, East Kazakhstan region - 52 cases, Karaganda region - 50 cases.
The total number of confirmed cases reached 22,308.
13,008 patients recovered. 188 patients died.
1,115 asymptomatic COVID-19 cases were registered for the past 24 hours. The total number of asymptomatic cases recorded in Kazakhstan since June 3 reached 18,757. These cases are not included into the country's tally of confirmed cases.
