Kyrgyzstan reports 526 new COVID cases as spike continues

Kyrgyzstan confirmed 526 more cases of COVID-19 in the morning of July 2, Health Ministry's spokesman Ainura Akmatova said, APA reports citing AKI Press.

They have been confirmed in Bishkek - 211, in Osh city - 19, in Chui region - 231, in Osh region - 6, in Jalal-Abad region - 27, in Talas region - 1, in Batken - 18, in Naryn - 3, in Issyk-Kul - 10.

As of July 2, the country's total of confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 6,261.

87 coronavirus patients were discharged from hospital after recovery in the last 24 hours. 2,530 patients recovered up to date.

4 coronavirus patients died in the past 24h.
