Number of coronavirus patients in Kyrgyzstan tripled since April 1

According to the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus prevention, the number of coronavirus infected citizens has tripled in Kyrgyzstan, if on April 1 the number of infected was 101 people and on April 14 the number of cases reached 430, First Deput Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov said at the joint meeting of two Parliament Committees today, APA reports citing AKIPress.

According to him, 11,961 wards prepared in the observation zones, which serve 15,219 people since Jan 28.

To date, 938 people remain in the observation zones.

53,752 people were sent to home quarantine, 20,436 people were discharged from quarantine. 33,316 people stay under home quarantine.

6,989 people contacted with infected citizens. Doctors traced down 1,417 family members and 5,683 other people (neighbors, colleagues) who contacted with coronavirus-infected persons in Kyrgyzstan, he added.
