Number of people, injured as a result of earthquake, hit Ramiyan district of Iran's Gulistan province, has risen to 22, APA's Tehran bureau reports.

According to the statement made by Tehran University Seismology Center, the earthquake, whose epicenter is in Ramiyan district of Gulistan Province, was recorded at 02.04 local time, APA reports citing en24news.

It was stated that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 9 kilometers.

According to the Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA), the Red Crescent Rescue and Aid Organization Operation Control and Coordination Center said, “Property damage occurred in buildings in some villages of Ramiyan. 7 people were injured in Kuruçay village and 3 in Elhadi village.” expressions were used.

It was noted that the search and rescue teams’ work in the region continues.
