In a telephone conversation, Rouhani offered his Turkish counterpart to hold a trilateral meeting with Turkey, Iran, and Syria.

Mr Rouhani told his Turkish counterpart that innocent people should be protected while fighting there against terrorists.

The Iranian president also said that the discussion of the Idlib problem in a tripartite meeting in Tehran could contribute to that.

In a telephone conversation, Rouhani thanked his Turkish counterpart for his support for coronavirus and stated that Iran is ready to implement a joint health protocol with Turkey: "Important programs for the control, prevention, and treatment of coronavirus have been implemented and we hope that this crisis will end soon."
