Shanghai Disney Resort started hosting visitors once again on Monday with new social distancing measures in place, APA reports citing Tele Trader.

The theme park is now working only with a capacity of 30%, meaning much fewer than 24,000 people can enter the premises of the park per day.

Entry tickets for visiting Shanghai Disneyland sold out in minutes when they were put on sale on Friday as the theme park had been closed for three months. All visitors and theme park workers are now required to wear masks and have their temperatures checked.

The reopening is seen as a potential blueprint for Disney reopenings in other countries. Earlire, the Walt Disney Co announced that its Parks, Experiences and Products revenues fell 10% in the first financial quarter of 2020 to $5.5 billion amid worldwide coronavirus closures.
