Liu Xiaoming, Beijing's special representative on Korean affairs, responded to United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken's decision to postpone his planned trip to China, APA reports citing Teletrader.
"The task of China-US diplomatic teams is to properly manage relations, particularly to manage some unexpected situations in a cool-headed & prudent manner," Liu said, noting that neither said had ever announced that there would be a visit. "It is a matter for the US to make its announcement," he sressed.
The news comes after Blinken postponed his visit, calling the presence of an alleged Chinese spy balloon in US airspace "unacceptable."
