Chinese Premier Li Qiang will attend the 18th G20 Summit to be held in India’s capital New Delhi city on September 9 and 10, China's Foreign Ministry confirmed on Monday (Sept 4), APA reports citing WION.
"At the invitation of the government of the Republic of India, Premier of the State Council Li Qiang will attend the 18th G20 Summit to be held in New Delhi, India on September 9 and 10," foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said in a press release.
The confirmation came days after the reports that Chinese President Xi Jinping will be skipping the marquee event.
