"Iran is like a cancerous tumor", Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen said in response to the inquiry of APA's special correspondent assigned to Israel on the restoration of diplomatic relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
"Iran threatens its neighbors. It can even be close neighbors, as well as Saudi Arabia. We remember the attack on Saudi Arabia. Iran is like a cancerous tumor. Iran ruins any country with which it meddles. Take a look at what's going on in Lebanon. This is accomplished through Hezbollah. Look how Iran destroyed Syria, as well as what it did in Yemen and Iraq. Iran is the number one world's leading financier of terrorism," stated Eli Cohen.
According to the minister, the goal for the stability of the region and the world is not to allow Iran to achieve nuclear weapons.
"We expect that more countries will join us to achieve this goal," said the head of the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
