Our position on NATO enlargement is not hostility to anyone, but a principled position against terrorism. said Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish President after the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, APA's Istanbul correspondent reports.
He noted that the steps taken against Turkey in Sweden and Finland will not be accepted. Erdogan added that he had recently discussed these issues with the NATO Secretary-General and different heads of state within the Alliance.
"We know our job, what steps we will take. These countries now have to choose between supporting terrorist organizations and hearing 'yes' from Turkey on NATO membership," he said.
According to him, Turkey will change its position after these countries stop supporting terrorist organizations.
