Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is planning to visit Kyiv in February, the Yomiuri newspaper said Saturday, citing government sources familiar with the matter, APA reports citing Teletrader.
During the visit, president Kishida is expected to hold talks with his Ukrainian counterpart, President Volodymyr Zelensky, to show his support and issue a joint statement condemning the war.
The Japanese president has not yet made a firm decision, and the government has not commented on the report either.
