Kishida urges G7 to listen to its international partners

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida called on the Group of Seven (G7) to listen to its international partners, particularly developing states with independent foreign policies, APA reports citing Teletrader.

Speaking at the final press conference after the G7 summit in Hiroshima ended, Kishida emphasized that the Global South and other vulnerable populations are significantly affected by various global issues. He stressed the importance of cooperating and addressing the challenges these countries face.

Kishida also highlighted the need to work towards a future without nuclear weapons to prevent a catastrophic outcome.
