Lukashenko arrives for a 3-day visit to China

Belarus' President Alexander Lukashenko arrived in China on Tuesday for a three-day state visit at the request of his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, during which the two leaders are expected to hold bilateral talks, APA reports citing Teletrader.

The head of state of Belarus will also meet with senior Chinese officials to discuss political, commercial, and economic cooperation between Minsk and Beijing. Belarus' Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov and Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik have joined Lukashenko on his visit to Beijing.

The bilateral trade volume between China and Belarus exceeded $5 billion in value last year, up 33% over the year before, according to Xinhua News Agency.
