MoU signed among Iranian, Russian, and Azerbaijani customs leaders

Trilateral memorandum of understanding in the field of transit facilitation area was signed among Iranian, Russian, and Azerbaijani customs heads, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.

The memorandum of understanding was signed between Alirza Moghadisi, the head of the Iranian Customs Department, Vladimir Bulavin, the head of customs of the Russian Federation, and Shahin Bagirov, the head of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The "Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding on Transit Facilitation" signed at the tripartite meeting will shorten the export route of Iranian goods to Russia through Azerbaijan and help facilitate the transit of Iranian goods to Azerbaijan.
