At the last Istanbul meetings, the approach of the Russian delegation was very positive, said Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish President during his bilateral meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Tehran, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports.

"The result we will get from here will have a positive impact on the whole world. On behalf of myself and my delegation, I would like to thank you very much. I hope that our meetings will be effective," he said.

In addition, Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked Erdogan for his initiatives regarding the "grain corridor".

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin met in Tehran, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.

The meeting of the Turkish and Russian leaders took place within the framework of the Astana summit.

During the meeting, the leaders discussed issues of mutual interest.
