S. Korea's daily COVID-19 cases at 4-month high

The number of daily COVID-19 infections in South Korea has reached a high unseen since April 13, the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) said on Wednesday, APA reports citing Teletrader.

The country recorded 180,803 cases in 24 hours, marking the fifth highest daily number of cases since the start of the pandemic.

The KDCA also recorded 42 deaths within the last day. The total number of cases now stands at 21,682,816, while the death toll has reached 25,752.
