ATO allies agree that Ukraine will become a member of the alliance, said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the Bucharest 9 Summit (B9) in Slovakia, APA reports.

NATO Secretary General stressed that NATO allies will take significant decisions at the summit to be held in Vilnius in July, 2023: "The decisions we will take at the NATO summit in Vilnius in July this year will be very significant. We will strengthen our support for Ukraine with a multi-year package of assistance to help them transition from Soviet era to NATO standards, and bring Ukraine closer to NATO. All allies agree that NATO's door remains open and that Ukraine will become a member of the alliance, and Russia does not have a veto," Stoltenberg stressed in his speech.
