Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiyy met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz within the framework of the Group of Seven (G7) summit in Hiroshima, President of Ukraine wrote on his Telegram channel, APA reports.
He discussed the first results of his visit to Germany with the Chancellor.
"I thanked for the powerful defense assistance Ukraine receives from Germany," he added.
The President of Ukraine also met with French President Emmanuel Macron.
"I thank France for the important decisions regarding military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine. France's support for the coalition of fighter jets and its participation in the training mission for the training of Ukrainian pilots is important," Zelenskyy said.
"It is important to implement the points of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.We coordinated our positions on the eve of the G7 Summit," he stressed.
