Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry responds to accusations of Vahid Ahmadov

The comments concerning minister of Defense voiced by the deputy Vahid Ahmadov nn May 31, at the regular meeting of the Azerbaijani Parliament are false and don’t correspond with reality, the Ministry of Defense told APA.

It was noted that during the last year, the ministry of Defense didn’t participate in any briefing and no question was posed to him regarding Shusha.

We remind the deputy that according to relevant item of clause 4 of the “Law about Defense of the Azerbaijan Republic”, the giving of “consent to declaring of war and concluding peace” is in the framework of authorities of the Azerbaijani Parliament.
