The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has commented on reports disseminated in a number of foreign media outlets about the establishment of Turkish military air bases in three cities of Azerbaijan, the head of the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan Colonel Vagif Dargahli told APA.
According to him, the information disseminated does not reflect the truth.
“The Republic of Azerbaijan is outside the policy of locating foreign military bases on its territory, except the cases provided in international agreements to which it is a party.
It should be taken into account that Azerbaijan is also a member of the Non-Aligned Movement and chairs this movement in 2019-2022," official of MoD said.
