“Armenian side has never followed the ceasefire regime, they have always conducted crimes against civilians and our servicemen,” said Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev at today’s briefing held in connection with the crimes committed against the civilian population of Azerbaijan as a result of the aggression of the Armenian Armed Forces, APA reports.
He stated that from May 12, 1994, when the ceasefire signed until today, 398 Azerbaijani servicemen, 31 civilians have been killed: “So, during the ceasefire period, in total, 429 Azerbaijani citizens were killed.”
K. Aliyev said 1,038 servicemen and 69 civilians had been wounded since the ceasefire was signed, this indicator is totally 1107: “Relevant criminal cases have been launched by the prosecutor's office on all these facts."
