Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, First Deputy Minister of Defense, General of the Army Valery Gerasimov and the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), General Tod Wolters has met in Baku, Russian Defence Ministry told, APA's Moscow Bureau reports.
They exchanged views on the situation in the European and global security, possible measures to prevent possible incidents on the Russian-NATO contact line.
The meeting also focused on the prospects of restoring dialogue between Russian and NATO military experts, the fight against terrorism, the situation in Afghanistan and Syria.
