According to the order of the Minister of Defense on the conduct of sports competitions in the Azerbaijan Army, another orienteering competitions among servicemen has started, APA reports citing Azerbaijani MOD.
The teams involved in competitions from various types of troops and services demonstrate their ability to navigate the terrain.
During the competition, servicemen will also compete in the individual championship.
It should be noted that unlike last year’s competitions, this year electronic chips that meet international standards will be used to organize and conduct competitions more efficiently, and the results achieved during the competition will be evaluated by representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Orienteering Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
