Armenian sources have confirmed that three soldiers—Robert Gasparyan (1969), Ambarsum Arutyunyan (1997) and Bahe Badalyan—have been wounded as a result of the strikes by the Azerbaijani army on Armenian military units that were ready for combat.

Azerbaijani armed forces have inflicted precise strikes on Armenian army positions in order to prevent another planned provocation by Armenia and to avenge the civilians killed in Fuzuli district’s Alkhanli village, the country's Defense Ministry said earlier.

“As a result of the strikes carried out in Fuzuli-Khojavend direction, according to preliminary information, a large number of Armenian forces were eliminated, and several pieces of military equipment and other military facilities of the enemy were destroyed,” the ministry said.
