Azerbaijan sends several high-ranking military officers to reserve and retirement

Azerbaijan’s President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev has signed an order to send a group of high-ranking military officers to reserve and retirement, Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov announced Tuesday.

 

A meeting was held Tuesday at Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry under the leadership of Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov.

 

After paying tribute to the memories of national Heydar Aliyev and martyrs with a minute’s silence, the personnel were informed about the order signed by Azerbaijan’s President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev to send a group of high-ranking military officers to reserve and retirement.

 

By the defense minister’s order, several officers were awarded valuable gifts for their honorable service in the Armed Forces, as well as for special services in protecting the territorial integrity of the country.
