Azerbaijan test-fires Shimshak combat module

Azerbaijan has completed the test-fire of local-made Shimshak (Lightning) combat module, an Azerbaijani pavilion at the IDEF-2017 told APA.

The test-fire of Shimshak combat module, produced by the Azerbaijani Defense Industry Ministry’s “Jihaz” Production Unit, has been conducted successfully.

Shimshak combat module will soon be provided with weapons of various calibers. The combat module is intended for armament of BTR-70 vehicles and others.
