Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. Azerbaijani Armed Forces will hold large-scale exercises from Nov. 12 to 18, said the country’s Defense Ministry on Nov. 3.
The drills will involve about 60,000 military personnel, more than 50 aircraft and helicopters, more than 150 tanks and armored combat vehicles, as well as up to 700 systems of rocket and artillery troops.
The exercises will be held in line with the plan approved by Azerbaijan’s President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev in order to inspect the system of control over troops and weapons.
