Azerbaijan will begin producing electromagnetic pulse weapons in the next few years, said Minister of Defense Industry Yaver Jamalov.
Azerbaijan has already started negotiations on the production of weapons that will allow destroying radio-electronic devices and all equipment of the enemy in a radius of 2 km, the minister told reporters in Baku Dec. 17.
Jamalov noted that the main goal of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Industry is the production of long-range missiles.
“The ministry is in talks with several international companies in this regard,” he added.
