The body of Azerbaijani soldier Bahruz Jalilbeyli (born in 1998) was found on the contact line of troops on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the direction of the Ordubad district of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, close to the positions of Armenian armed forces, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told APA on Nov. 23.
The Azerbaijani soldier, who left the duty station after committing a war crime, had been drafted from Sadarak district on January 5, 2017.
Investigation into the criminal case is ongoing.
